At the virtual AGM held on the 8th April 2021 following Rushmoor Borough Council's decision NOT to re-open
Farnborough Leisure Centre but to demolish and re-build it WITHOUT a bowls hall, RIBC invited their 350 members by email and letter to vote
on the future. Five proposals were put to the membership as outlined in this document.
Of the 350 members invited to vote, their responses and votes are shown on the next document.
As a result of this, a further Special General Meeting was called on the 28th May 2021;
again, due to COVID-19, as a virtual meeting requesting votes be received by the 21st May 2021. Again 350 members
were invited to register their votes as shown on the SGM document.
As above, their responses and votes are shown on the next document. Questions 3 and 4 were INTENDED to be an either/or option.
Unfortunately, your acting committee made a mistake and failed to put the word "either" in question 4, for which we sincerely apologise. Nevertheless,
this didn't stop members voting for both options in BOTH questions as shown on the attached. Our gast is truly flabbered.
Following this, two papers were prepared for discussion purposes and then decided upon by the acting committee.
The agreed actions by said acting committee, after due consideration, are shown on the next two documents.
